The new iPhone will feature its best camera yet, 9To5Mac reports. The new camera’s megapixel count will increase from the iPhone 6’s 8-megapixels to a 12-megapixel camera, which allows users to take higher-resolution photos. The new iPhone will also feature a boosted FaceTime camera, a flash for selfies, upgraded sensors to improve call quality and the ability to record video in full 4K resolution.

“Front-facing panorama shots and slow motion video in 720P are also likely to make it to the front camera this fall,” 9To5Mac said.

So, how much will Apple’s latest iPhone set you back? According to Forbes, leaks about the phone’s pricing indicate that a new iPhone 6S or 6S Plus will be on par with the iPhone 6.

I love taking photos. But over the past couple of years, I’ve noticed that it’s a rarity that I use my digital camera to take pictures. Instead, I increasingly rely on my iPhone for its picture-taking capabilities, so the prospect of an improved, higher resolution camera on the new iPhone is exciting to me.
