Apple investors OK proposals

Shareholders approved the company's proposals and rejected those the board opposed at its annual meeting, in a show of support for CEO Tim Cook and Apple's (AAPL) board. Cook told stockholders at the company's annual meeting Fri. its revenue growth "is greater than any other technology company." Cook has been under pressure to spark new growth with breakthrough products of the caliber that emerged when late founder and CEO Steve Jobs headed the company. Cook said Apple will reveal in the next 8 weeks plans on how it might use its cash hoard of about $160 bil. Shares fell 0.3% to 526.24.
