Regulus Therapeutics, Healthcare Stocks Are Big Movers In Tuesday's After Hours Trading

Regulus Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ: RGLS) soared over 10 percent in after-hours trading to $17.55 following news that AstraZeneca plc (ADR) (NYSE: AZN) selected its RG-125 as a clinical candidate.

Insys Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ: INSY) spiked up over 5 percent amid a rumor that the company might be acquired by Mallinckrodt PLC (NYSE: MNK).

Five Prime Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ: FPRX) surged over 3 percent in the after hours session after declining 1.57 percent during the regular session, trading at the $20 level.

Frontier Communications Corp (NASDAQ: FTR) moved up by 2.76 percent to $7.45 following an announcement that John Lass was promoted to Executive Vice President, Field Operations.

Quidel Corporation (NASDAQ: QDEL) fell 2.54 percent Tuesday and then surged 2.61 percent to $25.55 on volume of 3000 shares in the after hours session.

Infinity Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: INFI) fell over 4 percent to $13.03 in the after market following a gain of 4.22 percent in Tuesday's regular trading session.

Merge Healthcare Inc. (NASDAQ: MRGE) soared over 14 percent Tuesday and gave back some of its gains in the after hours session, falling 3.96 percent to $5.01. The company did not release any news.

Capitala Finance Corp (NASDAQ: CPTA) fell 3.39 percent to $18.25 following news that the company would offer 3,500,000 shares of its common stock for sale.

Epizyme Inc (NASDAQ: EPZM) fell 2.88 percent to $17.51 on share volume of 8,221 and did not release any news.

OvaScience Inc (NASDAQ: OVAS) fell over 11 percent Tuesday and then added to its losses, falling another 2.84 percent to $28.75 in the after hours session. It was not clear what news may have moved the stock.
