NEPA's first Dollar General Market set to open in the fall

Aug. 22—Northeast Pennsylvania's first Dollar General Market store is scheduled for an early fall opening in Pike County.

The market format for the store, 1218 Route 739, features expanded produce, refrigerated and frozen food offerings, dairy products, an assortment of fresh meats, and general merchandise.

The Pike County location will be the first Dollar General Market in Northeast Pennsylvania, a company spokesperson said.

"We continue to evaluate opportunities to add new locations and extend our mission of serving others," the spokesperson said.
