Five Prime Therapeutics, TiVo, ITT Educational Services Lead Tuesday's After-Hours Movers

Five Prime Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: FPRX) soared more than 18 percent to $23.30 after the bell Tuesday on news that it has licensed certain antibodies to Bluebird Bio Inc. (NASDAQ: BLUE).

ITT Educational Services Inc. (NYSE: ESI) jumped nearly 13 percent to $2.80 on no obvious catalyst. The shares are off about 59 percent in the past month. Regulators charged the company and two executives with fraud recently.

TiVo Inc. (NASDAQ: TIVO) rose more than 4 percent in late trading to $10.80 after the company's first-quarter results topped estimates and it announced the acquisition of Cubiware, a provider of software to pay-TV providers.

Hormel Foods Corp. (NYSE: HRL) gained 3.6 percent to $58.65 in the extended session when the company said it will buy Applegate Farms for $775 million.

Vince Holding Corp. (NYSE: VNCE) regained some of its earlier losses, trading up 2.8 percent to $17.24 after the bell. The diversified apparel company closed down more than 6 percent on no obvious catalyst.

Nimble Storage Inc. (NYSE: NMBL) rose more than 2 percent after hours to $26, after the data storage platform provider posted favorable first-quarter results. Nimble had closed down earlier more than 3 percent.

Workday Inc. (NYSE: WDAY) fell more than 6 percent in extended trading Tuesday to $86.75 on disappointing quarterly results for the cloud human resources and finance services company.

Cott Corp. (NYSE: COT) declined 4 percent after the bell when the soft drink maker priced a public offering.

21Vianet Group Inc. (NASDAQ: VNET) lost more than 4 percent in the extended session, trading at $17.20. The Internet data center services provider in China posted quarterly results after the bell.

Verint Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: VRNT) was off 4.7 percent in the late session, and traded recently at $63.62. The software company didn't issue news.
