US Steel falls on Trump threat, Elon Musk’s Tesla pay package rejected: Yahoo Finance

Shares of US Steel (X) are tumbling early Tuesday after President-elect Donald Trump posted on Truth Social that he is “totally against the once great and powerful U.S. Steel being bought by a foreign company, in this case, Nippon Steel of Japan” and vowing to “block” the deal from going through. Meanwhile, Tesla (TSLA) says it’s going to appeal a judge’s rejection of CEO Elon Musk’s $56 billion pay package.
