Non-farm payroll jobs grew by 143,000 in January, as reported by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) on Friday, which is below economist estimates of 175,000. Additionally, the unemployment rate fell to 4% from 4.1% while average hourly earnings grew by 4.1% year-over-year (above the expected 3.8%).
