According to The Athletic, MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred and other MLB owners are pushing Stu Sternberg to sell the Tampa Bay Rays if their $1.3B stadium deal with St. Petersburg falls through. The MLB has grown frustrated with the team’s delayed efforts to build a new stadium. Sportico is currently valuing the Rays at $1.33 billion.
