On April 2, Trump imposed tariffs that will see at least a 10% tariff on all exporters to the US, with even higher duties on some 60 nations. The tiny southern African mountain kingdom of Lesotho was hit with a 50% levy. South Africa was also among the nations that will receive a charge above 10%, with a 30% levy on products exported to the US.
