“We're going to knock out the middleman,” Trump said at a press conference on Monday, referring to pharmacy benefit managers (PBM) that negotiate drug prices between the manufacturer and the pharmacy. He added, “We're going to get drug costs down at levels that nobody has ever seen before.”
