ByteDance, the Chinese parent company of TikTok, denies reports from Bloomberg stating that Chinese officials are considering selling TikTok US to Tesla (TSLA) CEO and X (formerly Twitter) owner Elon Musk. TikTok tells various media outlets the report is "pure fiction."
