There's only 2 Magnificent 7 names this strategist likes for 2025

With some expecting a market correction in 2025, Harvest Portfolio Management CIO and Wall Street Beats partner Paul Meeks joins Brad Smith on Morning Brief to discuss his top stock picks for the new year.

"Of the [Magnificent Seven], the only ones I really support for growth and valuation at this level are Amazon (AMZN), which I think we'll see a nice upside surprise when they report, and also Nvidia (NVDA)," Meeks says.

"I am going to, at least in the early part of 2025, stick with my AI infrastructure building plays. Those are primarily semiconductor companies like the aforementioned Nvidia. I'm also starting to warm up to Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) because it's come down a lot. I like Broadcom (AVGO), which will be reporting tonight, and I also like Marvell [Techonology] and Taiwan [Semiconductor Manufacturing Company]."
