Tech earnings, P&G results, central bank decisions: 3 Things

In this article:

There is a lot happening on Wall Street on Tuesday, July 30. Here are three things investors should be watching.

Microsoft (MSFT) reports its fiscal Q4 earnings after the market close. It kicks off a big week of Big Tech earnings that also include Meta Platforms (META), Apple (AAPL), and Amazon (AMZN). Other names to watch after the close today: Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Starbucks (SBUX), and Pinterest (PINS).

One of the big names that reported this morning was Procter & Gamble (PG). The consumer goods giant reported mixed fiscal fourth quarter results, with both net sales and organic sales growth falling short of estimates.

Finally, it's a big week to hear from central banks. The Federal Reserve kicks off its two-day meeting today, with its latest decision on interest rates coming tomorrow. It's the same situation with the Bank of Japan while the Bank of England will announce its decision on Thursday.
