Supreme Court upholds TikTok ban-or-sale law

The US Supreme Court has upheld the law that will effectively ban TikTok in the United States on January 19 unless its Chinese owner ByteDance divests its stake. In a unanimous decision, the court ruled that national security concerns outweigh arguments that the law violated the First Amendment.
