It has been a wild week on Wall Street, with the major indexes (^DJI,^GSPC, ^IXIC) falling sharply on Monday only to recoup some of those losses on Thursday. On Friday morning, they are starting the day slightly lower with the VIX (^VIX), which is a measure of volatility dubbed Wall Street's "fear gauge," trading below 25.
