All three of the major indexes (^DJI, ^IXIC, ^GSPC) are trading lower following manufacturing and initial claims data that were weaker than expected. It’s fueling concerns that the Federal Reserve may be keeping rates restrictive for too long and that a recession could be in the cards. Another thing Wall Street is watching is quarterly results from “Magnificent Seven” members Apple (AAPL) and Amazon (AMZN).
