Stocks close lower, tech execs to attend inauguration: Market Domination Overtime

Stocks ended Thursday in the red on what was a busy day of trading. The Nasdaq Composite (^IXIC) posted the biggest loss, closing lower by 172 points or 0.89%.

However, investors are starting to turn their attention to next week. President-elect Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 47th President of the United States. When he does, there will be several Big Tech executives in the audience, including Amazon (AMZN) founder Jeff Bezos, Tesla (TSLA) CEO Elon Musk, and Meta (META) CEO Mark Zuckerburg. Speaking of tech giants, Evercore ISI managing director and head of internet research Mark Mahaney shares three of the biggest risks he sees for Alphabet (GOOG, GOOGL), Amazon, and Meta.
