All three of the major indexes (^DJI,^GSPC, ^IXIC) closed higher on Friday. It was a whipsaw week for investors as a market sell-off on Monday sent investors reeling, only for the S&P 500 to log its best day since 2022 on Thursday. For the week, the indexes ended relatively flat.
