US initial claims decreased by 2,000 to 227,000 in the week ended May 17, roughly in line with forecasts, Labor Department data showed Thursday. Nela Richardson, ADP chief economist and ESG officer, says the labor market is very stable and employees are not leaving their jobs. But Richardson says there are "no superheroes" left to help shore up some shortages in certain parts of the market. She is on "Bloomberg Surveillance."
