Tesla CEO Elon Musk (TSLA) and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg (META) are getting ready to fight...maybe. Zuckerberg claims in a Threads post that he proposed August 26th for a fight with Musk, but that Musk hasn't responded. Musk, meanwhile, says in an X post he may have to wait to fight, saying he is getting an MRI done on his upper back and neck and that he "may require surgery before the fight can happen." - This is one thing that I'm really excited about is the Musk versus Zuckerberg fight. And, you know, so Mark Zuckerberg put out a quote of a note saying-- on Thread, saying I got August 26th. Is that right? Yes.

- He wants 26. That's my-- that's my date. Waited to hear back from Musk and he said crickets, right? Musk writes back, oh yeah, I'm down for that, but hey, actually, I got a neck injury, I got a back injury. I need an MRI. Got to check that out. Potentially, that might affect the date of this fight. And I'm thinking to myself, is this sort of Musk's way of weaseling out of this fight after he sees Zuckerberg training with MMA guys? Zuckerberg also a big fan of martial arts here. I don't think Musk does any much fighting.
- This whole thing was obviously kind of a joke from the beginning and we were making a lot of, like, bro culture jokes about this, right? It's like two bro's online being like, oh, I could beat you up kind of stuff, or I could beat you in golf, and then you realize the guy's a scratch golfer. And I think Elon Musk went on the internet after doing this and was like maybe that guy's, kind of, ripped. Oh, he's training? Oh, maybe he's in better shape than me.
I at least need some lead time versus when you're Mark Zuckerberg and you're thinking, wait, I just took a look at Elon. I've been training way more for this. I want this tomorrow.

- I think Musk has more to win if he's just trying to grow-- sorry, I said Threads, if he's trying to grow X. If you're trying to get more people on to X and you can come up with something to get people on X here, and you could argue the same for Zuckerberg too. If it's only available on those two platforms, you're going to get downloads. You're going to get eyes. So I could see why they'd want to do it--
