Meta stock gains on Q1 earnings and revenue beat

Meta Platforms (META) stock pops in after-hours trading after reporting first quarter earnings that beat Wall Street's expectations on the top and bottom lines. Revenue came in at $42.31, compared to $41.38 that analysts estimated, while earnings per share (EPS) were $6.43, beating the $5.25 expected. The company issued second quarter revenue guidance of $42.5 billion to $45.5 billion, which was in line with analyst expectations.
