Meta Platforms (META) donated $1 million to President-elect Donald Trump's inaugural fund as the social media platform and CEO Mark Zuckerberg seek to strengthen their ties with the incoming administration. The tech company had not donated to Trump's 2017 inaugural fund or President Biden's 2021 inaugural fund.
