The airport was closed for most of the day due to a power outage that delayed travel for hundreds of thousands of passengers. That outage caused by a fire at an electrical substation supplying the airport. About 120 aircraft were en route to Heathrow when the fire broke out, and the airport says it expects significant disruption for days.
