Judge pauses Trump's funding freeze

The Trump administration issued a directive to halt federal aid, including grants and loans, as part of a review. Matthew J. Vaeth, acting director of the Office of Management and Budget, stated: "All federal agencies must temporarily pause all activities related to obligation or disbursement of all Federal financial assistance..."

However, a federal judge has blocked the implementation of this order until Monday, February 3rd.
