In this episode of Stocks In Translation, Yahoo Finance markets and data editor Jared Blikre and producer Sydnee Fried welcome Callie Cox, the Chief Market Strategist at Ritholtz Wealth Management, to discuss investing in AI.
If you're looking to identify companies poised to benefit from the AI revolution as it gradually integrates into the economy, Cox says “this year was all about the picks and shovels” and Nvidia (NVDA) is best example of that.
Although, Nvidia isn't directly rolling out products like ChatGPT, it supplies the essential chips for neural networks and machine learning. “So the companies that are tangential to AI, products that we got excited about in 2022, are really the companies that did well this year,” Cox says. She also advises investors to be patient, reminding them that "the story is still early."
Twice a week, Stocks In Translation cuts through the market mayhem, noisy numbers and hyperbole to give you the information you need to make the right trade for your portfolio. You can find more episodes here, or watch on your favorite streaming service.
