Gap (GAP) CEO Richard Dickson and Yahoo Finance Executive Editor Brian Sozzi sit down at the 2025 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, to discuss how the apparel company is faring as US President Donald Trump returns to the White House, shaking up dynamics for businesses.
The company is more than just the Gap brand, Dickson says, explaining, "Gap Inc. has Old Navy, which is our largest brand well known throughout the world, Gap, of course, Athleta, and Banana Republic."
"These are storied brands, decades young, if you will, with an international presence" in Europe, Latin America, and Japan. "These are globally recognized brands and diverse in their footprint, in the context of what they represent in each region, but ultimately a strong international presence, but a North American based business," the Gap CEO says.
