Dow surpasses 40,000, Walmart’s stock hits a record high: Yahoo Finance

One of the reasons the Dow hit a new high is Walmart (WMT). The retailer’s shares are surging after posting quarterly results that topped Wall Street estimates. Walmart got a big boost from its e-commerce business, which posted a 21% gain globally.
