Monday was a brutal day for Wall Street, with all three of the major averages (^DJI, ^GSPC, ^IXIC) closing sharply lower. The Dow Jones Industrial Average shed 890 points while the Nasdaq Composite closed 4% lower after officials in the Trump administration acknowledged that the economy may be headed for a rough patch.
