Dow, S&P 500 slip, Palo Alto Networks soars: Yahoo Finance

The Dow Jones Industrial Average (^DJI), Nasdaq Composite (^IXIC), and S&P 500 (^GSPC) are trading lower, with Wall Street in a holding pattern ahead of Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell’s big speech from Jackson Hole, Wyoming on Friday. One stock that is moving sharply higher, though, is Palo Alto Networks (PANW). The cybersecurity company saw its shares soar after posting better-than-expected quarterly results and issuing an upbeat forecast. It was the opposite of home improvement retailer Lowe’s (LOW), which reported revenue that fell short of Street estimates and cut its full-year outlook. Other trending tickers on Yahoo Finance include Boeing (BA), Netflix (NFLX), and Eli Lilly (LLY).
