Congressional Republican leaders have reportedly reached a deal to fund the federal government through March 14. If they fail to reach a deal by the end of the week, the government could shut down. The deal will provide funds for agriculture, relief efforts post Hurricanes Milton and Helene, and much more. If the continuing resolution passes and lawmakers are unable to reach a new funding deal, the shutdown fight in March will have a different look, with Republicans in full control and tax negotiations as potential hurdle.
