Commerzbank CEO Orlopp on Earnings, Guidance, Merz's New Govermnent
Commerzbank CEO Bettina Orlopp discusses the bank's forward guidance after reporting first-quarter profit which unexpectedly rose 12% from a year earlier to 834 million ($936 million), well ahead of analysts' estimates. Speaking on Bloomberg Television, Orlopp also comments on German Chancellor Friedrich Merz's new government and the outlook for Italian rival UniCredit's possible interest in buying the firm.
