Comcast released the name of its cable spin-off. So what's the latest there?

00:05 Speaker B

Yeah. This is very interesting. Uh if you remember the temporary name of the spin-off company was SpinCo, but we now have a new name, Versent. It is meant to represent the corporate versatility of this new company, which will be spun out from Comcast later this year. It will be home to most of NBC Universal's cable TV networks including USA, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E, Syfy, the Golf Channel. But Comcast will maintain ownership of its NBC broadcast network, including NBC News, along with its peacock streaming service and Bravo, which has been a big content feeder for peacock. But Versent, I don't know if I'm too crazy about it.

Yeah.

It's it they have released a whole video on it. They said they've been thinking about it since December. They went out 50 names. There was this whole process.

I just don't know if that translates to the consumer.

01:12 Speaker A

Yeah. You know, if they'd asked me and and my marketing gals, I would have gone with a like a Versent AI. You sprinkle a little of that AI dust on them. Then you got something.

01:24 Speaker B

Yeah.

01:24 Speaker A

There you go. Got to tell them.

01:27 Speaker B

Right. That is the moment.

01:29 Speaker A

All right. I agree with you Josh, got to tell NBC management.
