CEO confidence soars as shift to in-office work intensifies

The Conference Board reported CEO confidence hit a three-year high, rising to a print 60 in 2025's first quarter. This reflects a shift from cautious optimism to confidence in the economic environment.

However, this optimism comes with a catch for remote workers, as executives plan to bring more employees back to the office. There is currently 19% of CEOs with fully in-office teams, but that number is expected to increase as more CEOs also push for hybrid work arrangements.
