Private space launch operator Blue Origin is gearing up for its 11th manned mission on its New Shepard rocket, this time featuring an all-female crew. Former NASA rocket scientist and founder-CEO of STEMboard, Aisha Bowe, is among those selected to participate in this historic launch.
Bowe joins Julie Hyman and Josh Lipton on Market Domination Overtime to elaborate on how she got involved with the NS-31 mission and the research she wishes to conduct while onboard:
"One of the things I'm really excited about my flight was I was able to work with partners in order to find the resources for my seat. And so through the experiments, through working with nonprofits, and through advocating for STEM [science, technology, engineering and mathematics] education — which we've designed Stem lessons that go along with this flight... so that we can educate that emerging workforce — we were able to put together not only the resources to prove that if I can do it, others can do it, too."
