68 cyber attacks linked to the Olympics in Paris have been reported since July 22, according to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal. In addition, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) reports that cyber attacks in general have more than doubled since the COVID pandemic.

Patel affirms: "First thing, make sure that the password that you use for any of the applications that you might have that you keep unique passwords, ensure that you've got two-factor authentication turned on... don't scan QR codes that are from suspect fliers because that might take you to a malicious website."
