How Athletic Brewing Co. is preparing for 'Dry January'

Athletic Brewing Company co-founder and CEO Bill Shufelt joins Market Domination Overtime to discuss the company's preparation for "Dry January."

"It's an exciting time of year," says Shufelt, noting that business has shown consistent growth over the past three years, with the company driving 33% growth in the non-alcoholic category overall. He points out that the holiday season into January experiences "huge sequential growth," as nearly 40% of Americans gear up to participate in Dry January.

Beyond seasonal trends, Shufelt highlights year-round consumer interest in "the more inclusive offerings" that Athletic provides. He notes that, at "any given gathering," approximately 30–40% of adults are not consuming alcohol, contributing to the popularity of Athletic's beverages.

"Athletic Brewing is opening the growth vector of the beer industry to all seven days of the week, to much bigger populations as well," he tells Yahoo Finance.
