One of the big problems facing the housing market is supply. There are simply not enough homes for everyone who wants to buy one.

Redfin CEO Glenn Kelman (RDFN) says it's a "structural problem that America has forgotten how to build homes." Both Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump have offered housing proposals. He notes, however, that those would impact regulations at the federal level, but at the local level, there are still lots of bureaucratic hurdles.
