AI will have a 'very significant impact' at HP: CEO

In this article:

As AI seeps its way into all corners of the market, HP Inc. CEO Enrique Lores joins Yahoo Finance Executive Editor Brian Sozzi to discuss how the technology will change the face of the business.

Internally at HP (HPQ), Lores believes that AI will have a "very significant impact both improving productivity and increasing fulfillment of the employees about the job that they need to do." He notes that HP will use AI to "transform what we call the future of work," which will allow employees to dedicate their time to more value-added activities.

Externally, Lores explains that its next-gen PCs are equipped with full AI capabilities, and have received an initial positive reaction. As the AI race heats up, Lores says that finding the right chips for the next-gen PCs is not difficult, as the company works with chipmakers like Qualcomm (QCOM), Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), and Intel (INTC).
