Time now for what to watch Thursday, September 5th, starting off on jobs. The monthly ADP employment report for August is coming out in the morning. Consumes forecast that number to increase to 145,000, giving us a clear picture of the labor market. And more on the jobs front, we're going to be getting weekly jobless claims numbers. That number is expected to dip slightly to 230,000. Moving over to earnings, a new batch of earnings coming out tomorrow, Broadcom reporting third quarter earnings after the close. And finally, we'll get new weekly mortgage rate data from Freddie Mac. Rates have dropped the last two weeks, good news for home buyers navigating what we know is a sluggish housing market. That's a wrap on today's asking for a trend. Have a great night.
