More than half (57%) of small business owners have tried to use artificial intelligence (AI), a recent Gusto survey shows. Gusto senior economist Nich Tremper joins Wealth! Host Brad Smith to examine how small businesses are approaching AI.

"A significant number of small businesses are really exploring the use of generative AI," Tremper says, highlighting that the report found that 25% of small business owners are using generative AI and another 33% are experimenting with AI.

He adds, "One of the key important findings for me from this report was that businesses that use generative AI really benefit from hiring folks. People who use generative AI had a 45% easier time hiring employees than those who did not use generative AI in the last year."
