Super Bowl 2025: Sodexo Live! unveils affordable 'New Orleans flair'
The Super Bowl isn’t just about the "big game" — it’s also about the food. Sodexo Live! North America CEO Belinda Oakley leads a team of 4,000 "experience makers" who will serve 62,000 fans at New Orleans' Caesars Superdome for Super Bowl LIX this Sunday. Fans will be offered a mix of game-day favorites and high-end dishes with a local New Orleans flair. "We love the opportunity to bring that to life. And, certainly, it runs the gamut from game day favorites like hot dogs to Lobster Po' Boy and high-end food," Oakley tells Brad Smith on Wealth, emphasizing that "the experience economy is something people are absolutely worth willing to pay for." While rising costs have made pricing a challenge, Oakley highlights the importance of offering tiered options, ensuring fans can enjoy both affordable and luxurious choices. "The best part about bringing the taste of New Orleans to the Superdome on Sunday is that we're using a ton of local vendors, and that's really important for us generally is putting money back into the local economy, but also bringing that quintessential New Orleans flavor to the dishes that we're serving," Oakley says.
