In addition, It offers information and telecommunication devices; functional products that are lightweight, strong, flameproof, resistant to electricity, and impervious to chemicals, under the MICROGLAS brand name; and fine glass products, such as thin sheets, special glass for chemical strengthening, and anti-glare glass products. The company was formerly known as America Japan Sheet Glass Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Nippon Sheet Glass Company, Limited in 1931. The company was incorporated in 1918 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
