The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund will, under normal circumstances, invest at least 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) in equity securities, including preferred stocks, issued by emerging markets companies. Emerging markets companies include companies that are listed or traded principally in, have their primary operations in, are domiciled in or derive a majority of their revenue from emerging market countries as defined by the MSCI Emerging Markets Index.
