“Home buyers are moving more slowly in making their purchase decisions,” Jeffrey Mezger, CEO of the $4.2 billion KB Home said on an earnings conference call Monday. Buyers shopping for homes built by the $31 billion Lennar are similarly gun-shy. “While there continues to be considerable traffic of customers looking for homes, the urgency to actually transact remained tepid,” Lennar co-CEO Stuart Miller said earlier this month.
