The Fibers segment provides Vinylon, Clarino artificial leather, Kuraflex dry nonwoven fabrics, Magic tape hook-and-loop fasteners, polyesters, etc. The Trading segment produces and sells synthetic fibers and artificial leather, etc. It is also involved in the engineering business; design and construction of various plants; provision of logistics services; personnel dispatch and placement services; design, manufacture, construction, and sale of water treatment facilities; travel and insurance agency business; golf course management; management of accommodation and food facilities; manufacture and sale of dental materials; warehousing and logistics; as well as provides consulting services. The company was incorporated in 1926 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
