A continuation fund is a new vehicle created by a private equity (PE) firm to transfer holdings of existing investments. Sovereign wealth fund Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) has committed the biggest amount to become the anchor investor in Trustar's continuation fund, said the sources, who declined to be named as the information is confidential. CITIC to sell stake in McDonald's China, HK operations for $430.3 million It will sell the stake in Fast Food Holdings to a unit of Chinese private equity firm Trustar Capital Partners, CITIC said in a statement. Fast Food Holdings owns 52% of the holding company managing McDonald's businesses in mainland China and Hong Kong.
