How Do People Survive Plane Crashes That Kill Nearly Everyone Else? When Jeju Air Flight 2216 crash-landed at a South Korean airport, skidded into an embankment beyond the runway and burst into flames, it seemed impossible that any of its 181 occupants could have survived. Bloomberg Intelligence senior aerospace defense and airlines industry analyst George Ferguson says there is one thing that Ortberg needs to do now: improve deliveries. "Boeing needs to be very focused on safety and engineering culture quality. But at the same time, they need to deliver airplanes.
