TARAS SHUMELDA Senior Vice President, Portfolio Manager, Global Equities PineBridge Investments, New York Mr. Shumelda joined the firm in 2015 and is responsible for contributing to the management of the firm’s Global Emerging Market, Emerging Europe, and Global Focus strategies. Prior to joining PineBridge Investments, Mr. Shumelda served as Senior Investment Analyst – Emerging Markets at Ashmore where he covered Emerging Europe and Africa as a generalist as well as Emerging Market Oil and Gas as a specialist for the firm’s $4bn in GEM strategies for over three years. Prior to his tenure at Ashmore, Mr. Shumelda spent 12 years at American Century Investments as a Senior International Analyst where he was responsible for coverage of EMEA and Latin America. Mr. Shumelda holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Mansfield University and a Master of Science in Business Administration from Bucknell University. He is also fluent in Ukrainian and Russian.
