Oil Prices Soar After Israel’s Iran Strike Sparks Supply Fears

Oil futures surged Friday after Israel launched a wide-ranging attack against Iran’s nuclear facilities and military leadership, stoking fears of a regional conflict that could disrupt global energy flows. The U.S. oil gauge, West Texas Intermediate, also advanced over 7% to close at $72.98 a barrel.
