UK-based fintech ZILO has supported State Street in the launch of its transfer agency offering in the UK and the onboarding of River Global.

This displays ZILO's record of transforming transfer agency operating models, driven by its commitment to innovation, operating efficiency and improved client servicing for asset and wealth managers.

In addition, State Street was a Series A investor in ZILO and has provided continued support in the development of the technological platform.

Phil Goffin, founder and CEO of ZILO, said: 'I am very pleased to be announcing this successful collaboration with State Street. Through the ZILO platform, global custodian banks can create optimised, efficient and transparent transfer agency services that enhance workflow and deliver digital-first customer experiences in a world currently limited by legacy technology platforms.

"We appreciate State Street’s early confidence in our technology as a strategic investor and their trust in ZILO. It has been a pleasure to work with State Street and the River Global team and we look forward to further successful collaborations in the future."

Donna Milrod, global head of product, State Street, added: "Transfer agency is the gateway to investors and distributors, and ZILO’s cloud-based and AI-enabled technology helps significantly reduce friction in the distribution process, providing a superior digital-first user experience, complementing our existing back-office offering. We are pleased to welcome River Global as our first client of our re-entry to the UK transfer agency market."

ZILO is a fintech that specialises in global asset and wealth management software.

"ZILO selects State Street to help launch UK transfer agency" was originally created and published by Private Banker International, a GlobalData owned brand.
